RV Sites in Tennessee Near I-40 With Full Hookups & Relaxed Camping
Quick Answer: Looking for RV sites in Tennessee near I-40? Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground offers full hookup RV camping with pull-thru accessibility, 50/30/20 amp service, WiFi, laundry facilities, upgraded bathhouses, propane access, and a quieter West Tennessee setting travelers appreciate after a long day on the road.
Finding the right RV campground is not always about flashy amenities or oversized resort crowds.
Sometimes, you simply want a place where the roads are easier to navigate, the hookups work properly, the atmosphere feels welcoming, and the evening finally slows down for a while.
That is exactly what we’ve tried to create here at Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground.
As a family-owned campground in West Tennessee located just off Interstate 40 near Exit 108, we’ve built our RV park around comfort, convenience, and the kind of hospitality many travelers say has become difficult to find.
Whether you’re traveling cross-country, exploring Tennessee, heading toward Nashville or Memphis, or simply searching for dependable RV sites in Tennessee, we’d love to share this corner of the state with you.
Full Hookup RV Sites Tennessee Travelers Can Depend On
Reliable utilities matter more than many campgrounds admit.
After several hours behind the wheel, the last thing RV travelers want is uncertainty about hookups, electrical access, or site conditions.
Every RV site at our campground includes:
- full water hookups
- sewer hookups
- 50 amp service
- 30 amp service
- 20 amp service
- level site access
- WiFi availability
- propane access onsite
Many guests specifically search for full hookup RV sites Tennessee campers can trust during humid summer weather when air conditioning systems, refrigerators, and electronics remain in heavy use.
Dependable infrastructure helps transform a stressful travel day into a smoother overnight experience.
RV Camping Near I-40 Tennessee Without Interstate Noise
Location matters.
So does distance.
Our campground sits roughly one mile from Interstate 40, which gives guests convenient highway access without placing them directly beside heavy interstate congestion.
That balance creates a very different camping experience.
Guests can enjoy:
- easier fuel-stop planning
- quick overnight access
- efficient morning departures
- simpler route scheduling
- quieter evenings after setup
Many travelers moving between Memphis and Nashville appreciate having a practical stopover location that does not feel buried inside a busy commercial corridor.
Instead of hearing constant highway traffic all night, guests often tell us they notice how much calmer the property feels after sunset.
Pull-Thru RV Sites Tennessee Campers Appreciate After Long Driving Days
Backing a trailer into a narrow campsite after several hundred miles on the road is nobody’s idea of relaxation.
That’s why many of our RV sites were designed with maneuverability in mind.
Travelers arriving with:
- travel trailers
- fifth wheels
- Class A motorhomes
- toy haulers
- trucks with trailers
- larger touring coaches
…often appreciate how much simpler setup becomes here.
The internal layout helps reduce stressful repositioning and complicated parking angles, especially for guests arriving later in the evening.
For many RV travelers, easier arrivals become one of the most overlooked parts of a better campground experience.
A Smaller Tennessee Campground With a Slower Pace
Across the country, many RV travelers are quietly drifting away from oversized resort-style campgrounds.
Not because they dislike amenities.
Because many people eventually become exhausted by constant activity, traffic, packed site rows, and overstimulating campground environments.
We’ve intentionally kept a different atmosphere here.
Guests often tell us they enjoy:
- less crowding
- cleaner surroundings
- quieter evenings
- more breathing room
- simpler campground routines
- a more grounded travel experience
West Tennessee has a different rhythm than many heavily commercialized travel destinations.
We happen to love that about this region.
Separate Bathhouses, Laundry Facilities, and Onsite Conveniences
Long-term RV travelers learn quickly that campground amenities can dramatically shape the quality of a trip.
Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground includes upgraded bathhouses with separate facilities for men and women, offering guests a more comfortable and private experience than many older campgrounds provide.
Additional conveniences include:
- onsite laundry facilities
- four washers
- four gas dryers
- folding areas and seating
- free WiFi access
- propane availability
- general store access
- snacks and drinks
- camping essentials
- ice cream and convenience items
Guests frequently appreciate having basic necessities available onsite rather than needing another late-night drive into town after setup.
The campground’s general store also adds a small-town touch many larger RV resorts have lost.
Family-Owned Hospitality Still Exists Here
Some RV parks operate like paid parking lots. Does that sound like an ideal vacation setting to you?
Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground remains family-owned and operated, and guests regularly mention the difference that creates during arrival and setup.
It’s common for owners to:
- personally escort guests to sites
- help guide parking
- answer local questions
- assist with hookups when needed
- offer recommendations for nearby restaurants and attractions
That kind of interaction has become surprisingly uncommon in modern RV travel.
For first-time visitors to West Tennessee, local insight can make the stay feel more connected to the region rather than simply another anonymous interstate stop.
Pet-Friendly RV Camping Without the Chaos
Traveling with pets changes how people choose campgrounds.
RVers hauling large rigs often struggle to find places that feel manageable for both humans and animals after a long day on the interstate.
Here, guests will find:
- green space for walks
- quieter surroundings
- leash-friendly areas
- roomier campground spacing
- less overwhelming nighttime activity
Many travelers appreciate being able to step outside with their dogs without navigating heavy golf-cart traffic, loud entertainment zones, or crowded resort environments.
That calmer atmosphere tends to create a more comfortable RV experience for pets and owners alike.

We only stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer! An absolutely amazing campground. The sites are large and graveled. Surrounded by trees so it feels like you’re tucked in, & it’s very peaceful and quiet. HUGE pond stocked for fishing . The park was full of beautiful Christmas lights which was a nice added touch. The owners were extremely helpful and kind- they guided us to our site and helped us pull in. We loved the camp store- where you can find general camping items & snacks and also handmade items from the owners. This is a wonderful place and we would recommend to anyone staying short term or long term. My only complaint is that they charge an extra fee for extra vehicles on your site ($10 for a night), which I thought was odd.Posted on Google John KanyoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful campground and fantastic owners! We were here for November and December and could not have been happier! Higher recommend!
