About Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground
Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground is a long-standing RV park near I-40 in West Tennessee, serving travelers since the mid-1970s. Originally opened as a KOA campground, the park still reflects that classic camping heritage, most notably in the iconic A-frame office building you’ll recognize upon arrival.
While RV travel has changed over the years, this Parkers Crossroads RV park has evolved to meet modern needs. What began as a campground for pop-up campers and tents now features spacious, full-hookup RV sites in West Tennessee that are big-rig-friendly, with many accommodating large motorhomes and travel trailers up to 70+ feet. Whether you’re traveling in a motorhome, fifth wheel, or camper, you’ll find room to settle in comfortably.
In November 2020, new owners Bill and Sue Welling took over the property with a vision to enhance and expand the campground.
Since then, the Wellings have completely renovated the men’s and women’s bathhouses, which have gotten sensational responses from guests. They’ve also made significant upgrades overall with a goal to make their guests feel comfortable and safe in beautiful surroundings.
Their plans include adding more RV sites and introducing additional tent camping in Parkers Crossroads, TN, making the park more accessible for all types of campers.
Set on more than 18 acres of gently rolling countryside, this West Tennessee RV park offers a peaceful setting that’s increasingly rare. Located just 1.5 miles off I-40 near Parkers Crossroads, Tennessee, the campground provides easy interstate access without the noise and congestion of highway traffic.
Although Parkers Crossroads is an incorporated town, most commercial activity is centered near the interstate exit. Here, you’ll be surrounded by open farmland and cattle pastures, creating a quiet campground near I-40 where guests can relax, recharge, and enjoy the slower pace of country living.
If you’re looking for a family-owned, big-rig-friendly RV park in West Tennessee that combines convenience, space, and a peaceful rural atmosphere, Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground delivers a stay that’s both practical and refreshing.

We only stayed for one night and wished we could have stayed longer! An absolutely amazing campground. The sites are large and graveled. Surrounded by trees so it feels like you’re tucked in, & it’s very peaceful and quiet. HUGE pond stocked for fishing . The park was full of beautiful Christmas lights which was a nice added touch. The owners were extremely helpful and kind- they guided us to our site and helped us pull in. We loved the camp store- where you can find general camping items & snacks and also handmade items from the owners. This is a wonderful place and we would recommend to anyone staying short term or long term. My only complaint is that they charge an extra fee for extra vehicles on your site ($10 for a night), which I thought was odd.Posted on Google John KanyoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
