Campground Rules & Policies

At Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground, we want everyone who stays with us to feel comfortable, welcome, and safe. As longtime RVers ourselves, we know that a great campground experience usually comes down to a few simple things: respect your neighbors, take care of your campsite, use the facilities responsibly, and remember that everyone is here to enjoy their stay.

Most guests will never need to think twice about these policies. They’re here so that when a problem does arise, everyone knows what is expected and we have a fair, consistent way to handle it. These campground rules and policies apply to overnight campers, extended-stay guests, tent campers, visitors, and everyone else using the Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground property.

Guests are responsible for knowing and following campground policies and for the conduct of everyone in their party, including children, visitors, and pets. Management reserves the right to address conduct or circumstances not specifically covered below when necessary to protect guests, staff, property, campground operations, or the peaceful enjoyment of the park.

Respectful Conduct

We expect our guests to treat other campers, visitors, staff, and campground property with respect.

Harassment, threats, intimidation, aggressive behavior, fighting, excessive intoxication, disruptive conduct, or behavior that interferes with another guest’s reasonable enjoyment of the campground may result in management intervention.

This applies whether the behavior occurs at an individual campsite or in a shared area of the campground.

Guests must comply with reasonable instructions from campground management or staff concerning safety, campground operations, property, or the enforcement of these policies.

Quiet Hours & Excessive Noise

Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am.

One of the pleasures of camping is being able to relax. Please be considerate of the people staying around you.

Radios, televisions, outdoor speakers, gatherings, vehicles, pets, and conversations should be kept at a reasonable volume, particularly during evening and nighttime hours.

No generators will be run during quiet hours.

Even outside designated quiet hours, excessive or prolonged noise that disrupts neighboring campsites is not permitted.

During quiet hours, please keep outdoor activity and noise to a minimum.

Campsites, Site Boundaries & Cleanliness

Please keep your belongings, vehicles, equipment, and activities within your assigned campsite unless you are using a designated common area.

Do not walk, drive, park, or place equipment on another guest’s campsite without permission.

When driving through the park, please use the roadways and do not drive through empty campsites.

We ask guests to keep campsites reasonably clean and orderly. Trash, food waste, pet waste, broken equipment, excessive outdoor storage, and other debris should not accumulate around a site.

Please do not dig, alter landscaping, damage trees or vegetation, attach objects to campground property, or make permanent modifications to a campsite without management approval.

If excessive trash is found at your site, including your fire ring, a $25.00 clean up charge will be applied to your reservation.

Extended-stay guests should remember that campsites remain part of the campground and should be maintained accordingly.

RVs, Vehicles, Parking & Traffic

E.V. (Electric Vehicle) charging is not permitted within the park. Several Tesla charging stations are available one mile away at the Fast Stop filling station, off I-40. Guests found E.V. charging in the park will be heavily fined. 

Guest use of golf carts or ATVs is not permitted within the park. 

Vehicle and RV washing is not permitted. Feel free to clean the bugs off your windshield.

Please drive slowly and cautiously throughout the campground. Campgrounds have pedestrians, children, pets, RVs maneuvering into sites, and people who may not be visible from behind parked vehicles.

Campground speed limit is 10 miles per hour and is enforced.

Vehicles should remain on designated roads and parking areas. Do not drive or park on grass, landscaping, vacant campsites, or other areas not intended for vehicle use unless directed by management.

Vehicles must not block campground roads, emergency access, neighboring campsites, utilities, or common areas.

Each site has a specific number for allowable vehicles. This number varies due to site size. Upon checking in, guests with multiple vehicles will be instructed where they will be parking the additional vehicle or vehicles. An additional charge will be incurred for guests with multiple vehicles.

Unlicensed, inoperable, abandoned, leaking, or unsafe vehicles are not permitted within the campground.

Vehicle maintenance and repairs are not permitted on the campground. 

All visitors of campground guests will park in our designated visitor or overflow parking areas. Visitors will be informed where to park when they register at the office.

Children & Guest Supervision

We love seeing families enjoy the campground, but parents and guardians remain responsible for the safety, behavior, and supervision of children in their care.

Children should not be permitted to wander through occupied campsites, play around campground utilities or equipment, enter restricted areas, or engage in activities that could endanger themselves or others.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring children follow campground rules while using the playground, pool, pond, roads, and other common areas.

Campground facilities and natural areas are not substitutes for adult supervision.

Pet Rules

We welcome responsible pet owners and know that pets are part of the traveling family for many RVers. These guidelines apply to all pets: dogs, cats, and any other animal you may be traveling with.

Pets must be kept under their owner’s control. Pets WILL be leashed and under control at all times when outside the RV or other permitted enclosure.  There is no exception to this rule. Unleashed dogs in an RV park violate the Tennessee Health Code and jeopardize the campground’s permit.

Please:

• Clean up after your pet promptly.
• Prevent excessive or prolonged barking.
• Do not allow pets to roam unattended.
• Do not allow pets to enter or disturb another guest’s campsite.
• Keep pets away from areas where animals are prohibited.
• Maintain control of your pet around other guests, children, and animals.

Pets will not be left unattended outdoors.

Owners are responsible for their pets’ behavior, and for any injury, disturbance, cleanup, or property damage they cause.

Aggressive, dangerous, uncontrolled, or persistently disruptive animals may be required to leave the campground, with no refund.

Service animals will be accommodated in accordance with applicable law.

Visitors

Your visitors are welcome, but you are responsible for their conduct while they are on campground property.

The safety and security of the park and its guests is of the utmost importance to the owners and management. Please comply with these rules so all our guests can continue to feel safe at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and Campground.  

All visitor vehicles will report to the office before entering the campground.

After office hours, visitors will call the office before entering the campground. 

When the visitor contacts the office, staff will direct them where they may park their vehicle. 

A $10.00 fee will be applied to the guest reservation for all visitor vehicles that stay overnight.

Visitors must observe the same campground rules that apply to registered guests.

Please make sure visitors know where they may park and do not block roads, neighboring campsites, or campground facilities.

Management may restrict visitors when necessary for safety, security, occupancy, campground operations, or the comfort of registered guests.

RV Water, Electric & Sewer Hookups

Our RV sites offer convenient hookups, and proper use helps protect both your RV and campground infrastructure.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that their RV equipment, hoses, electrical cords, adapters, connectors, surge protection, and other hookup equipment are appropriate and in safe working condition.

Please connect only to utilities assigned to your campsite.

Electrical Connections

It is always advisable to use a RV surge protector when connecting to any campground electrical connection. The campground will not be responsible for any damage if a properly working surge protector is not used. 

Absolutely no E.V. charging is permitted.

Use RV electrical equipment that is properly rated for the campground connection and your RV.

Do not alter, bypass, tamper with, or attempt to repair campground electrical equipment.

If you notice a damaged pedestal, unusual heat, burning smell, sparking, repeated breaker trips, or another electrical problem, disconnect if it is safe to do so and contact us.

Fresh Water Connections

A water regulator is recommended at Parkers Crossroads RV Park and campground.

Use a potable-water-safe hose for your RV’s fresh water connection.

Connections should be secure and maintained so they do not create unnecessary leaks, standing water, or damage around the campsite.

Do not alter or repair campground water equipment without permission.

Sewer Connections

Sewer hoses must be connected securely with a screw-in elbow and maintained to prevent leaks or spills.

Sewage, gray water, wastewater, or other waste must never be discharged onto the ground.

Any spill should be reported immediately so it can be addressed safely and properly.

Guests may be held responsible for cleanup or damage resulting from improper connections, negligent handling, or misuse of campground utility systems.

If you have trouble with a campground utility, please contact us rather than attempting to modify campground equipment yourself.

Campfires, Grills & Fire Safety

Campfires and outdoor cooking equipment must be used responsibly and only where permitted.

Never leave an active fire unattended. Fires should be completely extinguished when you are finished with them.

Do not burn trash, plastics, hazardous materials, or anything that creates unsafe or excessive smoke.

Fire conditions can change quickly. Management may restrict or prohibit campfires, grills, or other open flames when weather conditions, local restrictions, burn bans, or safety concerns require it.

Please keep combustible materials away from fire and cooking areas.

Do not leave trash or cigarette/cigar butts in the fire rings.  Leave only unburned wood, ash, and charcoal in the ring. A $25.00 cleanup fee will be applied to the guest reservation for trash removed from fire rings.

Fireworks

No fireworks, explosive devices, or similar items are allowed in the campground.

This protects our guests, pets, RVs, property, and surrounding grounds.

Trash, Waste & Sanitation

Please dispose of household trash in designated campground receptacles.

Do not leave trash, food, furniture, appliances, automotive fluids, hazardous materials, sewage, construction debris, or oversized items at your campsite or beside campground receptacles unless management has specifically approved disposal.

Please help us keep the grounds clean for the next camper.

Guests responsible for excessive cleanup, improper dumping, spills, or damage may be responsible for associated cleanup or repair costs to the extent permitted by law.

Bathhouses, Restrooms & Laundry

Our shared facilities are here for everyone, so please leave them in the condition you would hope to find them.

Do not intentionally damage, misuse, obstruct, or remove campground property or equipment.

Children requiring supervision should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Please report plumbing problems, equipment failures, unsafe conditions, or damage rather than attempting repairs yourself.

Pool Rules

Our swimming pool is a shared recreational area and should be used responsibly.

Guests must follow all posted pool rules, safety notices, occupancy requirements, and management instructions.

Children must be appropriately supervised.

Children under the age of 13 MUST be accompanied by an adult 18 years old of older (no exception)

Visitors of registered guests are not permitted to use the pool. This ruling is per our insurance carrier.

Running, dangerous horseplay, unsafe behavior, glass containers, or conduct that creates a hazard for other swimmers is not permitted.

Pool access may be temporarily restricted because of weather, maintenance, water conditions, safety concerns, or other operational needs.

Use of the pool is subject to all posted rules and applicable law.

Please do not wear street clothes of any kind in the pool. Wear only swimwear while swimming in the pool. 

Pets are not permitted within the fenced pool area.

Playground & Common Areas

Please use campground recreational facilities and common areas for their intended purposes and be considerate of others using them.

Children should be appropriately supervised.

Do not damage, remove, alter, climb on, or misuse equipment, landscaping, signs, fencing, utility structures, or other campground property.

Guests should promptly report damaged equipment or potentially dangerous conditions.

The playground is designed for children and will not withstand the weight of an adult. There is a 100-pound per individual maximum weight limit for playground use.

Pond & Natural Areas

Our grounds and natural areas are part of what makes camping here enjoyable, but outdoor environments naturally contain uneven ground, water, insects, wildlife, vegetation, changing weather, and other conditions.

Please use appropriate care around the pond and other natural areas, particularly when supervising children.

Do not enter restricted areas or disturb wildlife.

You are welcome to fish in our stocked pond, but exercise catch-and-release practices 

Swimming, boating or allowing your pet to swim is not permitted in the pond.

Alcohol, Smoking & Substance Use

Adult guests who choose to consume alcohol are expected to do so responsibly and in compliance with applicable law.

Alcohol consumption does not excuse disruptive, dangerous, threatening, or destructive behavior.

Public drunkenness or impairment from drug use within the park will not be tolerated in any way, and the violator will be ejected from the park without any refund.

Smoking and vaping must comply with posted restrictions and applicable law and must not create a fire hazard or interfere with designated smoke-free areas.

Illegal drug activity or other unlawful conduct is not permitted on campground property.

Weapons & Dangerous Conduct

Guests are expected to comply with all applicable federal, Tennessee, and local laws regarding firearms and other weapons.

Regardless of lawful possession, threatening, reckless, intimidating, or unsafe use or handling of any weapon on campground property will not be tolerated.

No object, vehicle, tool, recreational equipment, or other item may be used in a manner that threatens or endangers another person.

Severe Weather, Emergencies & Changing Conditions

Camping means spending time close to nature, and conditions can change.

Guests are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and taking appropriate precautions for themselves, their families, pets, vehicles, and personal property.

Please follow emergency instructions from campground management, local authorities, law enforcement, fire personnel, or other emergency responders.

Storms, high winds, lightning, flooding, extreme temperatures, utility interruptions, fallen limbs, wildlife, insects, and other natural or unexpected conditions can occur.

During a tornado warning for Henderson County or Parkers Crossroads, the office and laundry room will be opened for all guests and their pets to shelter in.

If you discover an emergency or an unsafe condition, notify management promptly. In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 first.

Utilities, Internet & Service Interruptions

We work to keep campground utilities and services operating properly, but interruptions can occasionally occur because of weather, equipment failures, utility-provider outages, maintenance, repairs, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control.

Please notify us promptly if you experience a problem with campground water, electric, sewer, Wi-Fi, or another campground-provided service so we have an opportunity to investigate it.

Never attempt to repair, alter, bypass, or tamper with campground infrastructure yourself.

Illegal downloading of copyright material will result in all devices associated with your reservation being banned from connecting to the campground WiFi system.

Personal Property

Guests are responsible for securing and protecting their RVs, vehicles, equipment, valuables, bicycles, outdoor belongings, and other personal property.

Please do not leave valuables unsecured.

Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or unattended personal property except to the extent responsibility is imposed by applicable law.

Property Damage

Guests are responsible for damage they, their children, pets, visitors, vehicles, RVs, or equipment cause to campground property or facilities.

Please report accidental damage promptly. We understand that accidents happen, and letting us know quickly often helps prevent a small problem from becoming a larger one.

Intentional damage, vandalism, reckless conduct, or refusal to report significant damage may result in additional action.

Guests may be responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, cleanup, or remediation costs resulting from damage for which they are legally responsible.

Extended-Stay Guests (one month or longer)

We are happy to accommodate guests who make Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground a longer stop on their journey. We do not offer permanent residency at Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground, but those who require a few months are welcome to stay with us.

Extended stays do not change the campground nature of the property or exempt guests from campground rules & policies.

Sites should remain reasonably clean, safe, and orderly throughout the stay. Outdoor storage, additional structures, vehicle arrangements, site alterations, or other long-term additions will require management approval.

Extended-stay guests remain responsible for their occupants, visitors, pets, vehicles, utilities, and campsite condition.

Any additional written terms provided for an extended stay are incorporated into these campground policies where applicable.

Additional Guidelines for Extended Stay Guests

• No appliances are permitted outside your RV
• No E.V. charging is permitted 
• All visitors must report to the office before entering the campground (no exception) 
• No vehicle Maintenance or repair is permitted on campground property
• Only commercially made skirting is allowed. No tarps. No plywood
• No tarps of any kind are permitted 
• One tote, grill, and lawn chairs are allowed outside; all other belongings must be stowed away.
• Golf carts and ATVs are not permitted on campground property.
• No utility trailers are permitted on campsites. They will be placed in our storage area, and a monthly storage fee will be applied. 
• All visitors (with vehicles) spending the night will pay a $10.00 per night charge.
• No refunds will be given for early checkout. 
• Keep your site looking like you’re camping here, not living here. 
• Any vehicle larger than a standard pickup truck is not permitted on your site and will need to park in storage. 
• No other RV is permitted at your site. 
• Subletting is not permitted. 
• A $25.00 cleanup fee will be charged to your account for trash picked up around your site, including your fire ring.
• Additional charges will be assessed for more than 2 vehicles. 
• Vehicle washing is not permitted. 
• All pet enclosures must be approved by management

Reservations, Check-In & Check-Out

Guests are responsible for providing accurate reservation information and complying with the reservation terms applicable to their stay.

All reservations must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.  

Check-in time: 1:00 pm 

Check-out time: 12:00 Noon 

Early check-in & late check-outs can be available for an extra fee. 

A late checkout of 2:00 pm or later requires payment for another night. 

Please contact us if your travel plans change or you expect to arrive outside normal check-in arrangements.

Do not occupy, change, or move to another campsite without management approval, even if another site appears vacant.

Cancellations, Early Departures & Refunds

Sites must be paid in full upon booking.

If you cancel 7 days or more prior to your arrival date, you will receive a full refund minus a $20 cancellation fee.

If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival date, there is no refund and no exceptions.

There is no refund for early check-out departure.

Holiday weekends follow the same cancellation policy.

Removal from the campground because of serious or repeated rule violations may affect refund eligibility to the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms governing the guest’s reservation.

Unregistered Guests & Unauthorized Occupancy

Only registered guests and authorized visitors may occupy or routinely use a campsite.

Guests will notify management when the number of occupants, vehicles, or other material reservation details change.

A campsite may not be transferred, rented, sublet, or provided to another party without management approval.

Commercial Activity & Solicitation

Commercial activity, solicitation, sales, advertising, distribution of materials, or operation of a business is not permitted (this does not include remote workers).

Guests may not use their campsite for activities that create excessive traffic, noise, signage, deliveries, visitors, hazards, or disruption.

Illegal Activity

Activity prohibited by applicable federal, state, or local law is not permitted on campground property.

When circumstances warrant, management may contact law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical personnel, animal control, or other appropriate authorities.

When a Problem Occurs

If another guest’s behavior is interfering with your stay, please contact us rather than escalating the situation yourself.

We would rather have an opportunity to address a problem early.

Depending on the circumstances, management may speak with the guest involved, issue a warning, require corrective action, restrict an activity, contact appropriate authorities, or require a person or party to leave the campground.

The appropriate response depends on the nature, severity, frequency, and safety implications of the situation.

Serious or Repeated Rule Violations

Most problems can be resolved with a conversation. Occasionally, however, circumstances require stronger action.

Serious misconduct, dangerous behavior, threats, violence, substantial property damage, illegal activity, significant health or sanitation hazards, repeated violations, or refusal to comply with reasonable management instructions may result in termination of campground privileges and a requirement to leave the property, subject to applicable law.

Management is not required to repeatedly warn a guest before responding to conduct that presents an immediate safety risk or is sufficiently serious to warrant immediate action.

Nothing in these policies prevents management from contacting law enforcement or emergency services when circumstances warrant.

Responsibility for Your Party

The person making or holding the reservation is responsible for communicating campground policies to the members of their party and visitors.

A violation committed by a child, visitor, pet, or other person associated with a campsite may be treated as a violation associated with that campsite or reservation.

Please make sure everyone joining you understands the expectations before problems arise.

Management Authority

No written list can anticipate every circumstance that can occur in a campground.

Management therefore reserves the right to address unsafe, disruptive, destructive, unsanitary, unlawful, threatening, or unreasonable conduct even when the specific behavior is not expressly described in these rules.

Decisions will be based on the circumstances involved, the safety and welfare of guests and staff, protection of campground property, applicable law, and the need to maintain reasonable campground operations.

Policies May Change

Campground conditions, facilities, laws, safety requirements, and operating needs change from time to time.

Parkers Crossroads RV Park & Campground may update these rules and policies as reasonably necessary. Current posted rules, notices, facility-specific rules, emergency instructions, and direct management instructions should also be followed.

If you are unsure whether something is permitted, please ask us before doing it. We’d much rather answer a question than have to solve a problem afterward.

A Final Word From Bill & Sue

We don’t want a campground full of rules. We want a campground full of people enjoying themselves.

Most of what you’ve read here comes down to common courtesy: respect your neighbors, supervise the people and pets you’re responsible for, take care of the property, use good judgment, and let us know when something isn’t right.

Our goal is to provide a comfortable, welcoming place where overnight travelers can get some rest, families can enjoy time together, extended-stay guests can feel at home, and fellow RVers can enjoy the road.
